Straight from the archives: celebrities wearing vintage
Kaia Gerber honored her mother, Cindy Crawford, in a significant way. The 23-year-old model and actress made a striking appearance at the Toronto Film Festival premiere of her film 'Shell,' wearing a gown that many would recognize. According to Vogue, the white Hervé Leger body-con dress is a recreation of Crawford's iconic look from the 1993 Oscars, styled by Molly Dickinson. Supermodel Cindy Crawford, 58, used the striking white dress at the 1993 Academy Awards, accompanied with actor Richard Gere, her husband at that time, While many celebrities dress in the latest season's fashions for the red carpet, others like to cherry-pick classic looks from old collections that deserve another moment in the sun. Not only is re-wearing vintage clothing more sustainable, but it also shows designers' creativity in updating archival looks for current trends. From Sabrina Carpenter's vintage dress at the 2024 VMAs to Zendaya in an iconic '90s Mugler look, click on to watch history repeat itself with these famous archival fashion moments.

Celebrities who have been in cults
Last year, 'One Tree Hill' alum Bethany Joy Lenz opened up about her experience living in a cult for 10 years on the 'Drama Queens' podcast. She told her former co-stars that she would write a book about her time in the undisclosed cult. The book, titled 'Dinner for Vampires,' is set to be released on October 22. “I was in a cult for 10 years,” she told Sophia Bush and Hilarie Burton Morgan. “That would be a really valuable experience to write about, and the recovery—10 years of recovery after that. So there’s a lot to tell.” The actress didn't share further details but said that she writes about it privately. Though she has considered publishing a book, it's made difficult by “the pressure of getting it right and everything having to be exactly real and all the people that are involved." Lenz added, “Also, I don’t know how much I can say because there are still people and legal things in place that make it more complicated for the timing of that. But I do write. I write all the time.” Many Hollywood actors, comedians, singers, lawyers, and TV personalities have been involved in Scientology, Breatharianism, and other religious sects and communes, some of them even grew up in them.
