LUV SINHA FINALLY REVEALS WHY HE DIDN’T ATTEND SONAKSHI AND ZAHEER IQBAL’S WEDDING: ‘WOULD NOT ASSOCIATE...’

Actress Sonakshi Sinha and her longtime beau Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot under the Special Marriage Act at Sonakshi’s Bandra home on June 23. Despite several rumours doing rounds online, Sonakshi's father Shatrughan Sinha and mother Poonam Sinha attended the wedding. However, one notable absence was one of her brothers, Luv Sinha.

Till now, Luv remained tight-lipped about his absence at the wedding. However, it seems that Luv is finally ready to talk about it and give his reasons for not showing up at Sonakshi's wedding.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Luv shared a news article, hinting at suspicious practices by Zaheer's father, Iqbal Ratansi.

Pointing out a specific paragraph about Zaheer's father's connections with "a politician whose ED enquiries had vanished in the washing machine" and his stint in Dubai, Luv stated that he doesn't want to be associated with such people.

He wrote, "The reasons are very clear as to why I didn’t attend, and would not associate with some people no matter what. I’m glad a member of the media did their research instead of relying on creative stories being put out by a PR team."

In another post, Luv wrote, "Why I chose not to attend. Running an online campaign against me on a false premise won’t change the fact that for me my family will always come first."

On the day of the wedding, Sonakshi shared photos of the wedding ceremony and shared details of her love story. In the caption, she wrote, "On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife."

On the movie front, Sonakshi was last seen in Double XL. Next, she will feature in Kakuda, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, under RSVP Movies. It also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem.
