BIGG BOSS OTT 3: NAEZY REVEALS HE WAS IMPRISONED ON FALSE GROUNDS WHEN GULLY BOY WAS BEING MADE: ‘THOSE PEOPLE ARE STILL AFTER ME’
Amongst the Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestants, rapper Naezy has been getting a lot of sympathy from the audience. And while a section of the viewers have been wondering why the rapper is so silent, Neazy recently opened up about the tough times in his life. In a recent episode, Neazy opened up about the time when Gully Boy was being made and he was put behind bars with false allegations. The rapper told Ranvir Shorey, Armaan Malik, Sana Makbul, and Sai Ketan Rao that there was a conspiracy hatched by those jealous of him.
In the episode aired on June 28, Neazy spoke about how he used to rap to impress girls, and later on, he was celebrated for bringing gangster rap to India. He said, "After my song Aafat went viral in 2013, it changed everyone's thoughts about Hindi rap. People respected me for bringing gangster rap to India."
Neazy continued, "Everything was positive. There was a movie being made about me and I was going to be very powerful. That is when I disappeared from the scene. No posts on Instagram, no release on YouTube. Everyone wondered where I was. The film (Gully Boy) had just begun filming that time. I was imprisoned because some people in the system got jealous and they wanted to bother me, and wanted something from me."
When Ranvir Shorey insisted he be specific, Naezy refused and said that he couldn't divulge too many details. He said, "I was arrested with many false allegations. I was in prison for a year and no one knew. My parents also had no idea. Different rumors were floating, and when I returned, people got very emotional. I was broken. It spoiled my life and I could never reach the peak I was on. They wanted something from me and I didn't give in. They are still after me for it. When I decided to continue, my family was against me, there were many obstacles. I am still fighting and trying to get my position back."
In an interview with Indianexpress.com, Naezy opened up about his downfall. He shared that Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 was the only option left for him on the professional front.
