LOVE ISLAND'S CURTIS PRITCHARD GOES INSTAGRAM OFFICIAL WITH GIRLFRIEND IN LOVED-UP POST

Love Island finalist Curtis Pritchard has gone official with his partner on Instagram this week, with him having paid tribute following a trip abroad together.

Curtis, 28 - who appeared on the ITV2 show in 2019, before doing Love Island Games last year - is in a relationship with performer Sophie Sheridan. The couple are said to have first met over two years ago when they worked in a Christmas pantomime production together.

There has occasionally been speculation about a potential romance between the former colleagues in the years since the experience, with them having been spotted at events together. Curtis took to Instagram on Tuesday to seemingly confirm that they are currently in a relationship and it's believed to mark the first that he's done so on the platform.

The professional dancer - who appeared on Celebs Go Dating in 2021 - shared photos of himself and Sophie from a recent holiday. He tagged wellness resort the BodyHoliday, located in St. Lucia in the Caribbean, in the post.

The photos showed the pair on a boat trip, seemingly off the coast of the island. Curtis was seen wearing a striped shirt and beige shorts in the photos, whilst Sophie opted for a white dress that was adorned with strawberries.

One photo showed the couple posing for a selfie whilst on the boat, with a coastal landscape behind them. Others showed the pair inside the boat. Alongside the photos, Curtis said that Sophie was "looking beautiful as always".

He wrote: "This really is before and after picture. Before the boat party started and after the boat party started. [Sophie] looking beautiful as always but me on the other hand. Had the best time away with my [heart emoji]."

It's believed that the pair met when they both appeared in the pantomime Cinderella in Wolverhampton back in 2021. Curtis played Dandini in the production at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, whilst Sophie was part of the ensemble.

There was speculation about a possible romance between the former co-stars the following year. Curtis and Sophie have been spotted together on several occasions over the last two years, including having been spotted kissing on a night out, as reported by the Daily Mail at the time.

It's reported the couple rekindled a romance following his stint on Love Island Games towards the end of last year. Curtis and Sophie attended a press night for Priscilla The Party! in London back in March.

Curtis revealed that he was in a relationship whilst a guest on Anna Williamson's the Cost of Living podcast, in an episode released that same month. He teased that he has given himself a budget of £500 "spending money" per month, adding: "So if I wanna go out for dinner, I'm going to have to save up from this £500 a month, in London on the prices that we're living on, to then take her out for a date." He however didn't name his partner.
