GEORGE AND AMAL CLOONEY ENJOY FIVE-STAR DINNER IN ST TROPEZ AFTER EMMA ROBERTS' CRITICISM

George Clooney seemed to be in high spirits as he enjoyed a romantic dinner date with his wife Amal Clooney, after being dragged into the nepo-baby debate by Emma Roberts.

George and Amal walked hand-in-hand as they made their way to the famous Jardin Tropezina restaurant during their luxury holiday in St Tropez. They looked relaxed and happy as they chatted and took in the beautiful surroundings.

Amal looked elegant as she opted for a floral pink minidress with a tiered hemline. The outfit cinched her in at the waist to show off her slim figure and she paired the look with some nude-coloured heels.

He also opted for a pair of grey suit pants and carried around a beige blazer. The actor wore a pair of brown sunglasses and carried his phone in his hand.

The pair were pictured tucking into some tasty-looking food and indulging in an expensive bottle of wine at the restaurant, which was created by Michelin-starred Chef Jean-François Piège. Diners are offered Mediterranean dishes which use fresh local ingredients.

Jardin Tropezina restaurant has plenty of tasty dishes on offer, including Grilled Langoustine and a Niçoise Salad. Guests can also enjoy pre-dinner cocktails every night from 7.30pm.

George and Amal's vacay comes after George was dragged into the debate on nepo-babies by Emma Roberts as she slammed the term as "sexist". Speaking on Tuesday’s episode of iHeartPodcast’s Table for Two podcast, Emma also said nepo-babies can face setbacks just like everyone else.

"That's the thing that I always talk about – people kind of only see your wins because they only see when you're on the poster of a movie. They don’t see all the rejection along the way," the American Horror Story actress stated.

"That's why I'm always very open about things I've auditioned for and haven't gotten the part for," Emma admitted. "I think it’s important to talk about – otherwise people just think everything’s been so great and linear and easy, and no, it’s not at all. But of course it looks like that to the outside perspective or to the naked eye."

She then said how men and women are often viewed differently in the nepo-baby debate, jokingly mentioning how George should be included since his aunt is the late actor and singer Rosemary Clooney. Emma said: "I’m just kidding, but I feel like young girls get it harder with the nepo-baby thing.

"I don’t really see people calling out sons of famous actors – not that they should be called out. I don’t think anyone should be called out for wanting to follow their dream."
