FLORENCE PUGH LETS SLIP NEW CAREER MOVE AS SHE MAKES AN APPEARANCE AT GLASTONBURY

Florence Pugh revealed she's been 'tiptoeing' towards a new career as she made an appearance at Glastonbury Festival.

The Little Women actress, 28, took part in a Dune: Part Two Q&A on Friday and said she has been working towards directing and producing movies. The star is currently 'in the process of learning' the art. She said: "[Directing and producing is] definitely been something that I accidentally gravitated towards.

“I think when you know that you like things a certain way, you do that naturally, whether it’s to do with your character or maybe how things could be changed in a scene and I’m definitely someone that would love to do that. I do however think that being a director and being a producer requires a lot of education.

“And I really want to do it when I know and I’ve learned enough. It’s a huge responsibility to guide people and you have to remove your ego and you have to help people and cradle people and hold the story at the same time." She added: "There’s so many hands that you have to hold and I think, for me, I would love to do it, I’m in the process of learning, I am producing at the moment.

“I’m tiptoeing but, that’s the process, I really don’t want to cut corners. I want to make sure that I’m learning properly.” Florence also revealed this was the first time she ever attended the Glastonbury Festival. Earlier in the day, she was spotted walking towards the main area rocking a flower crown.

She looked out of this world in a loose-flowing black dress, boots and sunglasses. She accessorised with a fanny pack and minimal jewellery. Florence, 28, has been in many award-winning movies including Midsommar, Little Women, Oppenheimer and The Boy and the Heron.

Earlier this year, she reflected on an awkward moment while filming Oppenheimer with Cillian Murphy. She played Jean Tatlock in the biopic while Cillian played J. Robert Oppenheimer. The duo played on-screen lovers and were left in an awkward situation when a camera broke while they were filming an intimate scene.

Rather than clearing the set, the pair stayed where they were and covered themselves with their hands while the crew set about making repairs. Florence reflected on the uncomfortable moment - and how it presented her with a golden opportunity to learn more about filming equipment. The star told Variety: “In the middle of our sex scene, the camera broke. No one knows this, but it did. Our camera broke when we were both naked. And it was not ideal timing, and there weren't many cameras."
