TIKTOK STAR MIKAELA TESTA ISSUES WARNING AS SHE'S RUSHED TO HOSPITAL DURING 'WATER FAST'
Mikaela Testa has been rushed to hospital after attempting a "water fast".
The TikTok star had to have medical assistance after suffering a nasty case of appendicitis. She posted the news to her followers alongside snaps from her hospital stay. Mikaela had an intravenous drip in her arm. The medical episode came while she was in the middle of a "water fast".
"The nurse just told me I can't actually eat anything at all and before I came I had already fasted for 24 hours," she explained. "Think of this next time you want to attempt a water fast." Mikaela added: "I'm starving and all I want is some chicken tendies." She then posted a photo of herself sitting in her hospital bed, sipping on yellow liquid.
The Australian social media star explained: "My O calories dinner." Mikaela has a large social media following as she keeps her fans updated on her lavish lifestyle, including many trips abroad. However, last summer the influencer was brutally honest about her visit to Europe.
She posted a video of herself on the Italian island of Capri, claiming "it is not all it’s cracked up to be". "Influencers come to these locations and make them look so pretty and so photogenic and so amazing, but half of it is edited and filtered and just not real. I hardly see anyone mentioning any negatives, I don’t even want to mention them because I don’t want to be that b***h," she said.
Mikaela then decided to visit Barcelona and unfortunately for the Instagram model, it didn't cheered her up. "It’s been three months, we’re just dying to go home at this point, we’re just hating, we’re being negative, you get to a point in life where you start to hate everything around you and you just need something stable. Like my own bed, my own TV and my cats," she continued.
The Australian complained that being in Europe requires a huge amount of walking and that they are burning "literally 3,000 calories a day" from walking upstairs. She claimed that her group was having to dump water over themselves constantly to survive in the heat. Mikaela also urged people to avoid heading to Barcelona, arguing it was not worth the hype. "I stand in p**s every single day, this place stinks, and it’s horrible," she said.
During part of the viral video, she showed her pals walking around the streets with their pyjamas on. "It’s 8pm, and yes we’re wearing pyjamas outside because there is no point in looking good for this city," she said. However, Mikaela had very different feelings towards Bali, Indonesia as she branded it "the best place to party in the whole world".
Yet, Mikaela revealed she used a tactic to stop her nights out being interrupted by men. She explained: "Me and my friend get so harassed by men whenever we go out to a bar, a nightclub, anything, so we bought fake engagement rings just so that we can hold up our hands and say ''f*** off'." And because men respect other men way more, if you're engaged to another man, they're just going to leave you alone without any drama."
