LOVE ISLAND'S SAMMY ROOT SHARES INSIGHT INTO DRAMATIC CASA AMOR RECOUPLING

Sammy Root has offered his thoughts on the boys' mindsets ahead of the Love Island re-coupling tonight.

Casa Amor is fast approaching and the 23-year-old went through a similar twist himself last year. He ended up with his ex-girlfriend Jess Harding after making a real connection with her during the high pressure stay and he is well placed to put forward some insight.

Locking lips with Amber Wise and Gaby Jeffrey, he says the guys will be thinking a lot like he did last time out. Sammy said: "No one knows what they're gonna do until it has to happen, that's all I'm gonna say. You can have a plan in your head...."You can think 'Oh, no I'm not', but Casa is such a surreal experience and you're put in some crazy situations."

He went on to tell The Sun: "So to stay now would be very difficult, but I can't see every couple staying strong the whole way through Casa because is just Casa. It's crazy." months after their huge win, Jess and Sammy went their separate ways as they called an end to their relationship.

It looks like we're on for an explosive night. Love Island host Maya Jama is moved to tears in tonight's extended Casa Amor recoupling episode, which promises an extra dose of drama. ITV bosses have reportedly stretched the episode's duration to fit in all the juicy details.

That of course will include the fate of Mimii Ngulube and Ayo Odukoya, in what's anticipated to be a dramatic recoupling. This comes as the girls return from the second villa, Casa Amor, following over 400 complaints about the show this week. A TV insider revealed to MailOnline: "Maya feels connected to the Islanders.

"She struggled to hide her emotion during filming of the Casa Amor recoupling. It was tough for her to see the reaction from some of the girls, who were shocked to discover the level of betrayal demonstrated by their partner." Viewers will have to keep watching to see who ends up with who, but the 29-year-old TV presenter's emotional reaction has sparked rumours that the episode will be filled with post-Casa chaos, reports OK!

Several Islanders who were previously coupled up have shared kisses with Casa newcomers since the villa girls made their way over to Casa Amor. Three female contestants from Love Island, Nicole Samuel, Mimii, and Uma Jammeh, have been opting to sleep on the Casa daybeds outdoors as a symbol of their loyalty to their partners back in the main villa.

However, it appears their fidelity isn't reciprocated as two of their men, Ayo - Mimii's partner - and Wil Anderson, coupled with Uma, have been seen kissing other girls outside of the challenges. Adding fuel to the fire, Sean Stone left his fellow male Islanders in shock on Wednesday night when he kissed Diamante Laiva, despite being paired with Matilda Draper.

Love Island viewers were also taken aback when they realised Joey Essex could potentially reach the final. Fans observed that the heartthrob didn't make advances towards any of the six new bombshells during the dramatic Casa Amor shake-up.

Joey's time in the villa has seen him caught up in several love triangles since his arrival as a bombshell in the first week. Despite the introduction of Emma Milton - someone he knows from outside the villa - Joey remained faithful.
