'YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS' AND 'BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL' WILL HAVE A CROSSOVER WITH CRICKET AND DANNY

Cricket and Danny are heading to Hollywood. The Young and the Restless stars Lauralee Bell and Michael Damian are set to appear in The Bold and the Beautiful for two upcoming crossover episodes, ET has confirmed.

"We're all so excited," Bell tells Us Weekly, which first reported the news. "What we're doing is so authentic to the story."

According to an episode logline, shared by multiple outlets, the story will find Danny (Damian) and Christine "Cricket" (Bell) traveling to Los Angeles amid Danny's tour with his band.

"Danny and Christine [Cricket] are invited to the Forrester Estate for a party celebrating the success of the relaunch of Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) 'Brooke's Bedroom' fashion line… or so they think," the episode teaser reads.

"Little do Danny and Christine know, Brooke and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) have invited them to pitch a new business venture. Not to be outdone, Danny decides to give a surprise performance of his own to share with the partygoers."

After 40 years of an on-again-off-again romance, Cricket agreed to join Danny on tour during a March episode of Y&R

"What's great is we’re coming to L.A. just as our personalities back in the day, smiling and goofing along and being together," Bell tells Us. "When you're in a deep storyline, there are tears and drama and now we are at our happiest."

Cricket and Danny's crossover episode of The Bold and the Beautiful was filmed on Thursday, June 27, and is set to air on Tuesday, Aug. 13, and Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 1:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT on CBS.

ET was with 55-year-old Bell last year as she celebrated four decades on The Young and the Restless. The actress said she could not believe what was originally supposed to be a two-episode role turned into a journey spanning 40 years -- only one decade shy of the show's full length.

Bell, who first appeared on the soap opera at just 13 years old, is the daughter of the show's creators, William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell.

"I just wish at the end of every episode we could say thank you," she said of the fans. "Thank you so much."

She also addressed her hopes for Cricket's future on the beloved soap opera.

"I'm known as relatively a good girl so I guess I would like to just do something awful," the Daytime Emmy nominated actress joked. " I mean, I suppose I should say something like do a remote in Paris... It's her turn."
