'I FEEL LIKE A LITTLE KID AGAIN': LINDSAY LOHAN TALKS REUNITING WITH JAMIE LEE CURTIS ON FREAKY FRIDAY 2

Lindsay Lohan has given an insight into what it has been like filming Freaky Friday 2 more than two decades after the original film was released.

The much-loved 2003 flick focused on a mother and daughter - played by Jamie Lee Curtis and Lohan respectively - who swap bodies after getting into a terrible fight.

Former child star Lohan, 38, is reteaming with Curtis, 65, for the long anticipated sequel which set to hit cinemas sometime in 2025.

Last month, Lohan revealed that production on Freaky Friday 2 had begun by sharing a behind-the-scenes video online.

Now, she has shared her joy about being reunited on screen with Curtis after all these years and admits the whole experience has made her “feel like a kid again”.

“Jamie and I have stayed in touch over the years,” she began.

“You know how they say when you have a best friend or someone you’re really close with? If you cannot see them for years and years, but when you see them again, it’s like you never separated.”“I think really for me was when I went onto the Disney lot,” she reflected.

“And being back on the Disney lot, because that’s not just Freaky Friday for me. That’s The Parent Trap, that’s Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, that’s Herbie.

“It’s so many moments for me. So when I got there, I kind of felt like this essence of a little kid again.

“I’m so grateful for every moment of it. Every second… I’m going to get emotional. It’s a great experience,” she added to Nightline.
