SRIKANTH OTT RELEASE: HERE'S WHEN AND WHERE YOU CAN WATCH RAJKUMMAR RAO'S MOVIE

After an amazing run at theatres, Rajkummar Rao's Srikanth is set to release on the OTT platform. The critically acclaimed movie, starring Alaya F and Jyotika, was released in the cinemas on May 10 and won the hearts of critics and audiences alike.

Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, the movie tells the inspiring true story of Srikanth, a blind man who became an industrialist.

After becoming a sleeper hit, the critically acclaimed movie is set to premiere on Netflix on July 5. 

The streaming giant made the announcement on Thursday (Jul 4) by sharing the poster featuring Rao as Srikanth, they wrote in the caption, ''Witness a vision that defied limitations. Srikanth, the extraordinary true story, arriving tomorrow on Netflix!''

More About Srikanth Bolla and The Film

The film tells the inspiring journey of Srikanth Bolla, a blind man who established Bollant Industries, breaking all the stereotypes the world has for blind people and overcoming hurdles, Bolla received a scholarship and studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States. Despite having several good job offers in the USA, he chose to move back to India to improve his life for himself and other people like him.

With his prolific performance, Rajkummar has once again proved his versatility. His acting as a blind man was praised by one and all. 

Apart from him, the film also features actor Sharad Kelkar, an investor in Bolla's business, and Alaya F, Jyotika among others.

WION's Pragati Awasthi wrote in her review, ''The movie's story runs smoothly, with a happy and fun tone in the back. In a two-hour long film, we get to know about Srikanth's whole life in a detailed way, with every part of his life getting a fair on-screen presence, whether it's his childhood, his college life in India and the USA, or most importantly when he sets up his business.

Apart from Srikanth's remarkable life, the movie is much more about the life of a blind person, and the challenges that one goes through in a world where people only see them as helpless beings, who are of no use on the planet.''
