SAI PALLAVI GIVES SHOUTOUT TO CO-STAR JUNAID KHAN AFTER HIS DEBUT IN MAHARAJ: 'MUCH LOVE..'

Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan has made his much awaited debut in Bollywood with the movie 'Maharaj'. He has been receiving a lot of love and appreciation from the viewers for his impressive performance. He will next team up with popular actress Sai Pallavi for an untitled project and not much has been revealed about their collaboration. She has given a shoutout to Junaid on making his acting debut and extended her heartfelt congratulations to the entire team of 'Maharaj'.

Sai Pallavi wrote on Instagram, "Junaid!!! Congratulations on your first film’s release! Much love to @jaideepahlawat, @shalzp & @sharvari.”

While speaking to ANI, Junaid Khan talked about how Aamir Khan reacted after watching 'Maharaj' and talked about his decision to do this movie. He said, "He (Aamir Khan) normally lets us do what we want to do unless we ask for something very specific; then he gives advice. But he liked the film. He saw the film a few months ago and he quite liked it."

"When Sid (Siddharth P Malhotra) and Adi Sir called me for this story, I found it very appealing. I really liked Sid Sir's part. The Yash Raj banner is significant, so taking on this project was an obvious choice," he added.

'Maharaj' is based on true events that took place in the 1800s and revolves around journalist Karsandas Mulji, who decides to fight against a high priest as he is accused of sexually exploiting women devotees. The movie also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey and Sharvari in pivotal roles. 'Maharaj' is streaming on Netflix.

On the work front, Sai Pallavi was last seen in 'Gargi' along with Kaali Venkat, R. S. Shivaji, Saravanan, Livingston, Jayaprakash and Kavithalaya Krishnan. She will next star in 'Thandel' along with Naga Chaitanya.

She will also be seen in 'Amaran' along with Sivakarthikeyan, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Hanun Bawra, Ajaey Naga Raaman, Mir Salman, Gaurav Venkatesh and Shreekumar. Sai Pallavi will also star in 'Ramayana' as Goddess Sita along with Ranbir Kapoor.
