RISHAB SHETTY TAKES KALARIPAYATTU TRAINING FOR KANTARA: CHAPTER 1 | PHOTO
Rishab Shetty is one of the biggest names in the South Indian film industry even more after his 2022 release Kantara. The actor got nationwide recognition after his stint in Kantara. Rishab also received National Award for Best Actor for Kantara. He is currently working for the sequel of the movie which has been titled as Kantara: Chapter 1. The actor recently shared a picture of himself learning Kalaripayattu for the movie. He shared the image on Instagram and captied it by dropping a heart emoji.

About Kantara: Chapter 1
The movie explores the origins of Kaadubettu Shiva during the Kadamba dynasty era. Which later digs into untamed wilderness and forgotten lore surrounding his past. The film features Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, Achyuth Kumar, Manasi Sudhir, Shine Shetty and Akshay Punse in pivotal roles. The movie is made on a budget of Rs 125 crores and its has been directd by Shetty himself. Kantara: Chapter 1 is scheduled to be release in theatres this year. However, makers have not announced the exact release date yet.
Rishab Shetty also known for working in Kirik Party, Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana, Bell Bottom, Ulidavaru Kandanthe, Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare, Avane Srimannarayana, Harikathe Alla Girikathe and Shivamma Yarehanchinala to name a few. As per reports, the actor is also in talks with renowned Bollywood director Ashutosh Gowariker for an upcoming project.
