KALKI 2898 AD: NAG ASHWIN EXUDES CONFIDENCE ABOUT ITS CONTENT: ‘WON'T LEAVE A SEAT FOR ASHWATTHAMA FOR PROMOTIONS’

Nag Ashwin, who is currently basking in the mega success of Kalki 2898 AD, recently clarified that he won’t be doing any promotional tactics. Earlier, the makers of Prabhas starrer Adipurush urged theatres to keep one seat vacant for Hanuman but still, it failed at the box office.  However, Ashwin exuded confidence that the content of the movie would speak for itself and it doesn’t require him to ask the theatre owners to keep a vacant seat for Ashwatthama. His statement came after netizens showcased their curiosity about whether the director would follow the path of the makers of Adipurush.

Nag said, “I won't ask theatre owners to leave one seat for Ashwatthama for promotions, my content will speak for itself.”

Recently, the director made an appreciation post for Prabhas and called him the ‘biggest box office star of this era’. Ashwin took to his ‘X’ account (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote, “This man sitting casually there is the reason for all this, unbiasedly the biggest box office star of this era… He gave our production the confidence to do what we did, he gave me the freedom to do what I did… and so many intelligent inputs helped guide the film to what it is… everyone’s darling, our Bhairava and now the world’s K____.”
