DID VIVEK OBEROI TAKE A DIG AT SALMAN KHAN? ACTOR SAYS ‘SUDDENLY MY SUCCESS EVAPORATED BECAUSE OF…’

Vivek Oberoi’s emerging stardom took a back seat after his public feud with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan involving Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Recently, he stated that he was succeeding in his career but all of a sudden everything changed due to some people. Vivek shared that they made sure that he didn’t get work in the industry. Though he did not reveal any names fans could assume that he was talking about the superstar.

A video of Vivek's chat from London’s ‪India Global Forum was shared by Brut India, where he labelled himself a victim. He said, “I got a lot of success, I was winning a lot of awards in my career and suddenly it evaporated because a bunch of people, who had a lot of power in Bollywood, decided 'You are not going to work here anymore, we will make sure that happens'. I experienced a lot of frustration and pain and anger and felt like a victim; and I didn't know how to deal with it.”

“My mom is somebody I really look up to. She's my hero. And she said 'Put your attention into being a hero to someone else and you will feel like a hero, you will feel like a winner'... the only way you can transition from being a victim to being hero is by being a hero to someone. So you start finding that someone that you can be a hero to,” he added.

For the unversed, Vivek accused Salman of threatening him at a press conference in 2003 due to his romantic involvement with Aishwarya Rai. Before that, Salman and Aishwarya had an ugly breakup. Later, Aishwarya married Abhishek Bachchan in 2007 and are the parents of Aaradhya.

Vivek Oberoi has given major hits like Saathiya, Kyun! Ho Gaya Na…, Omkara, Kaal, Masti and Rakta Charitra to name a few. He was last seen in the action thriller web series Indian Police Force directed by Rohit Shetty.
