AYUSHMANN KHURRANA PENS HEARTWARMING POST FOR WIFE TAHIRA KASHYAP AS SHARMAJEE KI BETI RELEASES: ‘YOU HAVE BEEN A BORN DIRECTOR’
Ayushmann Khurrana shared an emotional post for his wife Tahira Kashyap as her directorial movie Sharmajee Ki Beti was released today on Prime Video. Sharing an appreciation post on Instagram, the actor said that Tahira had to go through a difficult time while making the film. He also called her born director and writer since their theatre days.
Ayushmann wrote, “Every day there are more reasons to be awed by you, by your resilience, by your passion for life, for work, for family. Your soul reflects in everything you touch which is why #SharmajeeKiBeti is such a special film. You fought through the most difficult time of your life during the journey of this film. Maybe this is why #SharmajeeKiBeti is such a heart-tugging story.”

Sharmajee Ki Beti revolves around the lives of three Urban middle-class women, who share the same surname ‘Sharma’. Tahira Kashyap directorial features Sakshi Tanwar, Divya Dutta, Saiyami Kher, Parvin Dabas, Sharib Hashmi, Vanshika Taparia, Arista Mehta, Tripti Sahu, Nazneen Madan, Manuj Bhaskar, Lovekkush Kundu and Ravjeet Singh in significant roles.
Earlier in an interview with PTI, Tahira Kashyap talked about her film and said “I think the first piece of art comes from a place of a lot of purity, a lot of passion. You are passionate about the things that you experience and observe. All of these five characters, there are three women and two girls, there is some amount of storytelling experience I have observed at the personal level... So it comes from a very pure place of heart.”
